Why do I need a Inspection?

When Do I Request an Inspection?

You should book a inspection as soon as your offer is accepted.  Depending on your contract it will state how many days you have to do your inspections and reports.  

What is an Inspection?

You should know what to expect about  general condition, potential repairs and maintenance of the property.  The inspector does a thorough visual examination of the physical structure and systems of the property. Then presents a professional opinion.  After  the inspection you will receive an inspection report on the property. This will help you understand the condition of the property and you will be able to make a clear and confident decision on your purchase.

What if the Report Reveals Problems?

If the inspection reveals problems in the property, It just means you know the current condition and what items may need repaired or replaced.   It is NOT a pass or fail, nor does it mean you should not buy this property. It just mean now you can now make a clear decision on your purchase.

Should I Attend the Inspection?
